Emma Catherine Sawyers

My dear friend Nikki had her baby very early this morning. Nikki was quite the WOMAN because she had her baby naturally at home. Emma Catherine was born at 1:30 am and weighed in at 8lbs. 4oz. and was 19 inches long. She is a beautiful little girl and has brought a lot of joy to the Sawyers home. We took them dinner tonight and enjoyed the new baby. The sweetest moment of the evening was when we cut the cake and sang, Happy Birthday to Emma!





Sheylea was able to be there when her sister Emma was born. She told me that is was amazing, one minute she was crying tears of joy because she was so happy to see Emma but she was also crying tears of sadness because she was watching her Mommy in pain. What a sweetie she is.
