The Arch with Stacy...

My sister-in-law, Stacy (Matt's sister) is hanging out with us in St. Louis for her (and Matt's) Spring Break! We are showing her the sights and taking her to do some of the fun FREE things to do. First we went and took the Budweiser tour (pictures below), and then we went to the arch. Everyone who comes to visit has to see the arch! What would coming to St. Louis be without going to the arch? After all it is the 'Gateway to the West". Anyway here are some fun pictures of our time at the arch. We had a blast trying to get creative with our cameras. Look how strong we are!

Don't let it fall..

Look how strong they are!

This picture is taken in the museum underneath the arch...we're so cute!

Budweiser Tour with Stacy

What fun we had today taking the hour long Budweiser tour. (This tour is a favorite of ours. We take all who come to visit). They show you the brewing process, take you to meet the Clydesdales, show you through the assembly line and serve up free beer in the end. Everyone we take loves it! Here are some pictures of today's fun!

A weekend full of yard work...

Matt and I were so proud of ourselves this past weekend. At about 11:00 am, sun was shining and it was about 65 degrees out side, and we decided to go out and tackle some yard work. We knew we needed to start with our back yard by just raking leaves. You see, the whole time this house was on the market the leaves were NEVER raked and we have about 15 trees in our backyard. What a project...we had no idea. By 6:00 pm when it was all said and done we had raked about 42 bags of leaves. Needless to say our muscles were sore and we were exhausted. We are happy about the job well done, and now we can get down to the real landscaping!

Here is our yard to start...1/4 of an acre.

Here is Matt working hard (even though I bagged more leaves then him).

Here is the final product of a day of yard work, 42 BAGS OF LEAVES!

A job well done! No more leaves...at least for now!

Girls Visit!

My mom and two sisters came to visit a couple weekends ago and we all had a great time! They flew in from Florida on a Wednesday and stayed until Monday morning. I took some time off of work to spend with them. We stayed busy (even though we could not get out of the house before 2:00, due to the fact 4 girls had to get ready). We went to the Zoo, we took the Budweiser Tour, went to Baileys Chocolate Bar, saw the arch, went shopping and ate at some really yummy restaurants (thanks to Mom)! I think they all enjoyed their visit, but decided next time they would come in the Spring! (I think it was a little cold for them)
Thanks for coming to visit, Mom, Miranda and Liza. I love you!

Liza and I enjoyed our time at the Chocolate Bar to say the least!

I was so excited to see my sister Miranda! Can you tell?

Snow Day!!!

Well work and school were canceld for me and Matt this past Tuesday. We woke up and were getting ready to eat breakfast when the phone rang...one of my friends at work was calling to tell me the good news...A SNOW DAY! At first Matt and I did not believe her because it was only raining but with in a matter of 30 minutes the rain turned to ice and the ice turned to snow! We were excited! I spent my day off taking a nap and watching two movies. Matt got some studying done too! Here is a pictue of our house during the snow storm!

Yea, a snow day!

It took Matt about an hour and a half to shovel our whole driveway!
