Andrew got this toy as an early birthday present. I bought it from a friend of mine that has an online yard-sale for $3.00. What a deal. Andrew loves it! Andrew will be 1, just one week from today. I can not believe how fast the time has gone. My little boy is growing up.

Today I am celebrating my FIRST Mother's Day. What a joy it has been being a mom. I feel this is what the Lord has called me to do and that I am living out my dream being a mom. I am so thankful for my beautiful, healthy son and my forgiving, loving husband. What a blessed mother and wife I am.

Crawling in the grass/sidewalk

When we take Andrew outside to play in the yard, this is how he gets around. It is pretty darn cute. I guess he does not like to get his knees dirty. He is darn cute if you ask me! Plus get a load of those chunky legs...i just love them!

Sick baby

Andrew was sick this week. It started with Conjunctivitis (a mild form of pink eye) in one eye and then made it's way to the other eye. At the doctors appointment we found out he had an ear infection too. Since he has been on antibiotics for the past two days he is doing much better now. We had a couple days with a fussy, pitiful baby but he seems to be on the mend!

Despite the smile on his face this was a rough day (Wednesday). Believe it or not, his eye got worse after this. He actually has a scab now where it was swollen.
