In November Matt baptized our niece (my older sister's daughter), Ava! It is always neat watching my husband baptize a baby, but it is especially neat when it is a family member! He did great (of course) and it was a beautiful morning!

We are alive...

I know it has been almost three months since I have posted...I promise those of you who don't see us often, we are alive! The reason for my lack of posting is because my computer is having issues and I have not been able to load pictures on it since September, and who wants a blog post without pictures? This is going to be one of those posts...sorry no pics!

Here is a run down of the past three months!

October:
-My mom and I traveled to NYC to be a part of my cousins wedding. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding and great girls time!
-I also took a much needed girl's trip to Chicago. I met up with some Seminary friends. It was one of the best weeks of my life! All we did was talk, eat, relax, talk and eat some more! It was WONDERFUL!!!
-My Aunt Wendy passed away after her two year struggle with cancer. I traveled to Ft. Lauderdale with my mom, sisters and Tom for the funeral. It was super sad, but was also a great celebration of her life.
-The kids struggled a little bit with Mommy being gone so much, but they survived!

November:
-Matt preached at a community Thanksgiving service at another local church in the area. He did a great job!
-Successful Trunk or Treat at church, even though it rained...no wait, down-poured!
-We had a nice Thanksgiving. We had a Thanksgiving brunch with my inlaws and then went to my mom's for a Thanksgiving dinner. It was a fun day!
-I took Andrew to the circus and he LOVED it! He now has an obsession with tigers because of it!
-The kids and I have been staying busy with our weekly activities (ie- library class, visits to the park, Friday morning bible study, Tuesday morning play-date and much more)!!!

December:
-Found out we have to move out of our place (the current owner has not been paying and the place is in Foreclosure).
-Decided we wanted to start looking for a house. Found a great deal on a short sale, put in an offer in...didn't get it!
-Matt played in the Gulf Coast High School Alumni basketball game. The old farts won the whole thing. The kids and I went and Andrew thought it was super cool watching his Daddy play basketball!
-Molly got a horrible case of Hand, Foot & Mouth disease. The doctor said it was one of the worst cases he had ever seen! It was BAD!
-We celebrated Christmas on Saturday (instead of on the actual day, Sunday) because Matt had to work on Sunday. It was a great day! Andrew was so fun to watch and Molly just went along with it! We had a great morning!
-We had our record attendance at Oak River church at our Christmas Eve service, 85 yahoo!!!
-Matt took the week after christmas off. We just hung out as a family, went to the zoo, went on a date and enjoyed having him home!
-Put another offer down on a house, ours was low, theirs was high...we walked away!

I know I have missed a lot that has happened over the past few months, but there is a run down! The kids have been growing so fast!

Andrew is your typical 3 year old boy! He loves to play with his trucks, play out side, run around the house like a crazy person, pretend he is in the circus, watch movies and wrestle with his Dad! He loves doing school at home. We are working on recognizing our numbers and letters. He says the cutest things and is nice to his sister (most of the time). He wants her to play with her more, but she does not quite understand that yet.

Molly is so FUN! She is starting to talk a lot. She says, Mama, Dada, Nene, Papa, Liza, Kyle, ball, shoes, tree, more, amen, shhhhh, no, night-night, Hello, Hi, bye, and much more. She loves her paci, and her bed. She sleeps great (both naps and bed time), and eats great too! She loves to play outside, loves her baths and LOVES books. She would sit in my lap all day and let me read books to her! She seems to understand everything we say to her or tell her to do! She loves to give kisses and is very good at it! We love the age she is at and are really enjoying every moment of it!

House update:
So we have to be out of our place in the beginning of March. We have put two offers on two different houses and neither one of them were accepted (both for different reasons). We are currently looking into a short sale and praying this is the one. We are excited about the prospect of owning a house if all of this works out. Please keep us in our prayers, that the Lord would lead us to right home!

Since I have not posted in forever (sorry) here is what we have been up to...

Matt baptized our nephew, Kevin Bradley McGee Jr. It was beautiful & Matt did a great job! :)

We still play firefighters in our house whether you are a girl firefighter or...

...a boy firefighter!

Andrew & Molly play well (most of the time)...let's just say, Molly is going to be one tough cookie! :)

We wear slippers even when it's 90 degrees outside...

...because we have to keep our feet and hands warm! :)

We play with (plastic) bugs...

We play with Daddy & act silly & laugh a lot too!

...and Mommy travels to NYC to celebrate her cousin's wedding!

We have done TONS more in between all the pictures...the Loveall family is definitely busy...
The kids are doing well, growing too fast, the church is going well, growing too! Matt & I surrived our 30th birthday's too...

These pictures are sort of old, but they are to cute not to post! These two kiddos have been keeping me busy, but I love it! Molly is the funniest, sassiest, happiest girl I know, and Andrew is still all boy! He loves to wrestle with his Daddy, Papa or uncles. He is saying the cutest things lately, and both kids keep Matt and me laughing! We sure do love them!

School update

For those of you who have not heard, we took Andrew out of preschool recently. We had him at a great school (that was definitely not the problem). I was the one having the problem. I had a problem sending my son off to school for 10 hours a week. He is only 3 and I only have him at home for 18 years and I want to make the most of these years.

We have decided to home-school Andrew for now. You may think I am crazy, or you may fear that Andrew will not be socialized (that is what everyone thinks about home-schooled kids). I have my son involved with other children almost every day. We have playdates with kids his age & I meet once a week with another home-schooling mom (who has boys). This is not a forever decision, it is just a 'for now' decision. I don't even know what I am going to do about Kindergarden yet. We are taking this new adventure one day at a time.

Andrew LOVES doing school at home! He asks me almost everyday, "Are we doing school today, Mommy?" We do school just two mornings a week and we are just focusing on our letters, numbers, shapes & colors right now. I am trying to do a lot of hands on projects and I have a dear friend (who teaches PreK 4 in the public school system) helping me stay on track! We are learning the children's catechism too! So far we are really enjoying school at home!

I will keep you updated on our journey. Please pray that I would have patience as I teach Andrew and that he would continue to thrive in this setting!

Molly's 1 year stats

So I am about a month behind on this (shocker). I would probably just pass this up and not even blog it, if it weren't for the fact that I use my blog as a record book for myself. We took Molly for her 1 year check up about a month ago and of course she is doing great and right on track!

Here are her stats:
29.12 lbs (97%), this was no shock to us since she was almost 20 lbs at 4 months!! Yes, she is a big girl!
31 inches long (90%)

Yes, we just have big, tall kids! :)

Molly is still the happiest, enjoyable little girl! She is now walking (at 13 months). She loves to read books, take baths, eat and play with her big brother. She can say, Mama, Dada, Papa, Hello, Yes & No. She can sign, Eat, More, Please, All done, thank you and she can blow kisses.

We are constantly laughing at the funny things she does and she loves to give hugs and snuggle!

On Molly's birthday Matt took off. It was a fun day with our regular visit to the library (for Andrew's class & Molly's class). Then we went to lunch, at Chickfila of course and then dinner at my moms (those pics coming later).

My baby girl is 1 today! Where did the year go? Seriously!

I remember when I found out I was going to have a girl and to be honest, I was very nervous! I was used to a boy...what would I do with a girl? What sort of influence would I have to be on her? I had many mixed emotions. But from the second I met her I knew she was going to be a very important part of my life- and she has!

Molly is the sweetest girl I know. She is always so happy and always has a smile on her face! She is super silly too! I look forward to many more years with this sweet girl. I look forward to the woman the Lord will make her to be!

We had a nice 4th of July! Our church, Oak River was in the local town parade and it was so fun. We handed out water bottles (which was genius of us b/c everyone wants water at a 4th of July parade in southwest, Florida)! After the parade, we took naps and then enjoyed swimming, a cookout and great neighborhood fireworks at my mom's house!

Cow Appreciation Day 2011

Every year Chickfila has, Dress Like a Cow, for free food; it is called Cow Appreciation Day! This is the first time the Loveall family took advantage of this, but I can tell you it definitely won't be the last. Our whole family of 4 ate for FREE! It was awesome! Andrew really enjoyed dressing up (despite the look on his face). It was a fun, FREE evening for our family!

Molly, 11 months...

Today my sweet Molly Joy is 11 months old. I am happy about this, but a little sad too. I don't know why I am so sentimental about her growing up (I was not at all with Andrew). She is just growing so fast and I think I want her to stay a baby- I need to get over that! :) She is just the happiest, silliest baby! She is really starting to become a little person!

Well I am behind on blogging (so what else is new), but I wanted to fill you all in on Andrew's stats. We took him to the Dr. for this 3 year check up.

Weight: 36 pounds- 90%
Height: 43 inches- 97%

Surprise he is still big! :) According to the doctor he is right on track! She gave him an A++

Facts about Andrew:
-He can swim all by himself (across the pool)
-LOVES Firefighters, Police & Ambulance drivers
-Can count to 13ish
-Knows all his colors
-Wears NO DIAPERS!
-Knows all the words to these songs: Jesus Loves Me, BINGO, the Doxology, Twinkle, Zaccheus, This Little Light of Mine, My God is So Big, ect. I could go on!
-Still naps (for 2-3 hours)
-Loves Curious George & Little Critter books
-Favorite movie is Toy Story
-Loves fishing, playing outside, play-dough, coloring & pretending he is going camping!
-His buddies are Austen, Ezra, Grace, Caroline, Ian, Hudson & Marcus
-His favorite foods are chicken, broccoli, spaghetti, pizza, carrots & ranch, Golden Grahams cereal, peas, & mint-chip icecream
-He loves spending time with Mommy, Daddy & Molly and his other family (especially all the cousins & grandparents)!

I had tears in my eyes when I left Andrew's room tonight because he said to me, "Thank you for my party, thank you for my presents, thank you for cupcakes, and thank you for my zoo trip. I love you, Mommy."

What a sweet boy I have. Those of you who don't know him, I wish you did! Yes, he gives me my run for my money. I know my mom laughs a lot because I am getting what I deserve when raising him (it is definitely payback from when she raised me). But despite his strong-willed personality he truly is the sweetest boy I know.

He loves his family...all of you! He talks about you constantly- even if you think he has forgotten about you, he will say something out of the blue that he remembers about you and it always shocks Matt & me. He also tells me almost every day how much he loves Molly. Oh and we pray for our cousins almost every night. And if we forget he says, don't forget to pray for my cousins! :)

He loves to fish, play outside, ride his bike, chase lizards & play in the dirt. We have a small porch and he spends a lot of time out there pretending to build buildings and fix things (just like Papa)!

He loves sports. Golfing (in our back yard), kicking his new soccer ball around, using the vacuums pole as a baseball bat, and watching his "favorite" show on TV- basketball (like Daddy)!

Andrew is just starting to remember words to songs, his favorite is Jesus Loves Me! He also likes Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, This Little Light of Mine, My God is so Big & 10 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed! He will pretty much sing them on command and when Molly starts to cry, he always sings her Jesus Loves Me!

I could go on and on about this special boy of mine. As I reflect on him and the past 3 years we have had with him I am just so thankful. I praise the Lord, I have a son. I thank Him for his sweet personality, his great imagination and his little sense of humor. Just like I said in my last post, I am honored to be his mom!

Mother's Day...

I had the best Mother's Day! I am so thankful to be a mommy! I can not imagine my life with out my two beautiful babies! I did not get breakfast in bed (that does not happen when you are the wife of a pastor), I did not have anyone take care of me Sunday morning, but I was so fortunate to take care of the two blessings that make me a Mom! Matt left me beautiful flowers, a gift and some pictures colored by my children. Later that day we had a nice lunch (at Tijuana Flats- one of my favorite Mexican restaurants) and then a fun dinner at my Mom's where the husbands served us!

Overall it was a fantastic Mother's Day...but as it ended, what didn't matter is that I did not get breakfast in bed, it didn't matter if I got a gift or not, it didn't matter if I had to change 4 poopy diapers, none of that mattered. What mattered was that I have two beautiful children, who teach me things every day, who make me laugh, who make me cry, but who love me more than I deserve!

I love my sweet Andrew and my happy Molly. I love being a Mom!

Molly, 9 months

I can not belive Molly is 9 months old already (actually she is almost 10 months). I love thinking that she has been out of the womb just as long as she was in the womb. I have said it 100 times, but Molly is the happiest baby ever!

The Dr. said, "Well Molly is definitely big, but at least she is proportionate." :)

Happy St. Patrick Day (only 2 moths later)!

Molly & Andrew were both sick a couple of weeks ago. First Molly got it, then Andrew. It was a 72 hour fever & then they were better. Look at how pitiful Molly looked.

We had to lower Molly's crib because she has started pulling up on her knees. She has not stood up completely but it is not far off from when she does.

As I mentioned in my post below, Molly wore the same dress that my older sister (Miranda) wore on her 1st Easter too! I love that my mom kept some of our clothes so our girls can wear them now! Easter 2011

The Loveall's had a very busy, fun Easter weekend. We started the weekend with our 1st Annual Oak River Egg Hunt on Saturday, and it was AWESOME! We had over 200 kids show up, the Chickfila cow, games, the firefighters & trucks, and the famous Easter bunny!

On Sunday I got the kids ready for church, took their pictures and headed to church. We had over 70 people attend our Easter service (pretty darn good for a new church) and Matt preached a great sermon. We spend the evening at my mom's house where the kids got to go on another egg hunt and spend the night swimming & enjoying their cousins & family!

Even though it was a busy weekend, we made sure we did not forget the real reason of Easter and we did our best to teach our son about the resurrection of Christ!

I am SO behind on my blogging, but I figured I had to start somewhere so why not on Sunday. This is what we did Sunday evening; we went and enjoyed the sunset with family! The kids loved it as you can see!

KAYAKING...
Matt borrowed a friend's two kayaks and has been using them this week. He took Andrew out twice and went with some guy friends one evening at sun set! I love that he has had this time because he deserves it! Maybe one day we will be able to get our own kayak so he (and Andrew) can kayak more often!

To start our stay-cation we had a pool party with the cousins on Sunday evening. Andrew was SO excited about this pool party. 1. Because he loves to swim, 2. He loves his cousins 3. He was very excited we had Cheetos with dinner! :) Enjoy the pictures, I think they pretty much explain themselves!

Sorry for the long delay in posts...the Loveall's have been SICK! Seriously, for the past 3 weeks someone in our house has had the stomach bug, Andrew twice. We cleaned up a lot of puke...but we have been puke free for a week now! I think we are on the mend! I have a lot of new pictures to post but I am still having issues loading them on my computer, so for now you will have to be content with these! :)

When I was looking through the pictures on my computer once I loaded them I came across these and laughed my head off. I think Matt took these at my mom's house during Grace's (my niece) birthday celebration. Once I saw them I knew I was going to post them. There is not much explaining that has to be done...All I have to say is that we are just being goofy sisters here!

Here is the one good photo of us, being normal! I think the pictures say a lot about our personalities...I love how Miranda is just sitting there and Liza & I are being goofy on both sides...

This is one of the many dresses my mom saved from when my sisters and I were little. I wish I had the picture scanned in of me wearing it. I was much older than Molly is now. I don't know how old I was but I know I was at least walking. When I pulled this dress out of the closet I knew I wanted to get some pics of my baby girl in it. Look how cute she is!

Belated Valentine's Day post...

We had a very nice Valentine's Day. I wanted to make it special for my kids- really just Andrew since Molly does not know any better. We got Andrew a small gift, we made heart shaped chocolate-chip cookies, and heart shaped pizza. He thought it was all pretty cool!

My baby girl was 7 months on Sunday...holy cow, someone slow down the time! I think my last post was on her turning 6 months and here we are a month later...wow!
I know it say it over & over again, but Molly is seriously the happiest baby ever. She was crying at my mom's on Saturday night and my cousin said," I think this is the first time I have ever heard her cry"...seriously at 7 months. My baby rocks! :)

Molly update (6 months)

I took Molly to the doctor last week for her 6 month check up, here are her stats:
Weight: 22.10 pounds (97%)
Length: 27 inches (90%)
When Molly's pediatrician saw her she says, "Is that my little pork chop?!" She just loves all of Molly's chub because she knows she is a breast fed baby! :) Molly got an A+ from the doctor.

All about Molly, 6 months:
-can sit up
-can say Bow-Wow and Mama!
-LOVES peaches- real peaches
-would rather eat real food than baby food
-has her two bottom teeth
-can wave (sort of)
-can clap
-loves when you sing to her
-is easily scared (loud noises)

My little sister Liza, had her baby early Saturday morning! Kevin Bradley McGee Jr. was born at 4:04 am, weighing 7 pounds and 20 inches long! He is absolutely beautiful- and I mean it! Liza was a champ during labor and is falling into motherhood wonderfully! I am sure she will post the birth story on her blog eventually!

Today Molly turns 6 months old! And early this morning (5 AM to be exact) when she wouldn't sleep, I saw a tooth poking through her gums. What a wonderful baby Molly has been over the past 6 months. I tell Matt all the time how happy I am that we gave her the middle name, Joy! It fits her perfectly. She is SO happy and such a joy to us!

The past 6 months:
-Molly is sitting up (almost)
-She loves baths!!!
-She thinks Andrew is the funniest person in the world!
-She loves to be around people (she is very social).
-She does not care about food, but LOVES to nurse (and would all day long if I allowed it).
-Babbles all day long.
-Enjoys being outside, going on walks and watching her big brother play.
-Sleeps 10+ hours a night (when she is not teething).
-ALWAYS wakes up with a smile!

I can not believe Molly is 6 months old already...I wish I could slow down time!

Andrew ran to me before nap time and said,
"Mommy, I would rather hang out with you!"

Matt gave Andrew a treat for going poopy on the potty and Andrew comes over to me and says,
"Daddy's a good guy!"

We were in the car on the way somewhere and we had to discipline our son (for doing something, I forget now) and
Matt says: "Andrew do you understand me!"
Andrew replies: "Okkie-Dokkie Daddy"

Matt & Andrew went out to take the garbage out and
Andrew says, "Mommy don't forget about my baby brother" (like I could forget about Molly)
I say, "You mean your baby sister?"
Andrew: "No my baby brother"

We were outside playing and Andrew made Molly a dirt cake. I told Andrew that Molly was going to be 1 on her birthday in July and Andrew says: "I am going to be 2:30 on my birthday."

After nap time Andrew was watching Dinosaur Train and he says to me, "I don't want a bum-bum Mommy, I want a tail"!

Right around Christmas time I started feeding Molly food (she was 5 months). Then I stopped for awhile because she did not seem interested. Now I am back to it. She is a totally different eater than Andrew was. What ever you put in Andrew's mouth he would eat it (he is still pretty much like that today). Molly is another story. The only thing I can get this kid to eat is bananas and apple sauce. Oh, and her food HAS to be heated up or she won't eat it. And she still wants to nurse all the time too. The other night when I was feeding her I said aloud, "Molly, a girl can not live on breast milk & bananas alone!"

Christmas recap

Well, I was very bad about taking pictures this Christmas. That is sad to me because it was Molly's first Christmas and I wanted more pictures to document that, but nothing I can do about it now. This was the first Christmas in 4 years that we were home as a family- just the 4 of us. We spent time opening gifts as a family and then our extended family visited...Matt's parents & sis, my dad & his wife, my mom & Tom, Aunt Liza & Uncle Kevin and some of our good friends Dan & Rachel. After naptime we went to my sister's house, ate a very yummy dinner and opened more presents. It was a fun day. Here are the few pics I did take (of course there is not one picture of me...I guess that happens when you are the mom, always taking the pics!)

Most of you know that my little sister got married last month. She found out in October that she was pregnant, so she and her (already) fiance decided to move the wedding up to December. You can read her whole story on her blog. Matt performed her wedding and honesty, it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever been a part of! The reception was a blast too!

Moss Family

Danielle is a friend of my from school (we go way back to being friends in 3rd grade, middle school, high school and even our first year of college- until she transfered). Anyway, she and her husband have a very sick little boy named, Kian. You can read all about their story on their blog.

New Look, New Post & New Year

Well, I have done a lot of thinking lately and was considering closing down the blog. I thought, "Do I even need to continue with this blog, does anyone even read it?" I thought about the time it takes to update it and to write on it. After thinking through all of this I came to the conclusion that I would keep the blog. Here is why; I do this blog for me (sorry for the few of you that do read it). I do this blog, so when I get to sit down and journal in the two baby books I am trying to keep up with, I can go back and look on my blog to see what Andrew & Molly have accomplished, the silly things they have done or said, and the bench marks they have made in their lives. I use this blog as almost a record book for me kids.

So with all that to say, I am going to keep up with it! I changed the look of the blog up a little too. I am going to make some changes this year in my journaling too. For those of you whom I don't talk to often enough (believe me there are A LOT of you), I want you to be able to use my blog to see how not only what Loveall family is doing, but how the Loveall family is feeling too. Most of you don't know (other than my mom), what a hard year 2010 was for us. I will not go into it in to much detail, but moving, having a baby, getting ordained (Matt that is) and planting a church was hard on our family this year. We are so thankful for everything we went through and for all the Lord blessed us with in 2010, but it was a hard year on our family. I hope to share more of those struggles (and JOYS too) with you all.

The reason for all of this change is so you can PRAY! I know I do have some blog readers out there that would be praying for me, if I asked (Thank you, Aunt Terri). I am a pastor's wife and there are people I try to remember to pray for all day long. But I never ask for anyone to pray for me or our family. So I am asking my bloggers to pray; pray for me as a mom & wife, pray for my husband as a dad, husband & pastor; as he now tries to grow the church he recently planted, and pray for my kids as they are stuck with us and the life we are leading them in.

I will still update you on my two wonderful children, but I am going to be more 'real' with you all too. No, I will not throw my life up on you everytime you visit, but there will be times I just ask for prayer! Thanks in advanced for those of you who do read this blog and who will pray, we (all the Lovealls) appreciate it!

What a Year...

Matt was talking to one of his pastor friends this year (who he had not talked to in a while) and he when he heard that we had moved, had a baby, planted a church & gotten ordained all in one year, he was shocked!

Here is our review of 2010, Enjoy!
We found out in the beginng of 2010 we were pregnant with baby #2

Matt was getting used to working (a lot) and preaching on occasion

We were enjoying the beach & our close proximity (5 min. drive)...

In March we found out that Andrew would have a baby sister.

In May we went back to St. Louis so Matt could "walk" for completing his Master's of Divinity.

Andrew turned 2!

We celebrate 6 years of Marriage!

We my computer is still down, but I decided to load some pics on to Matt's computer...here are some photos of the kids over the past 2 months...

Let's start with Molly! She had a doctor appointment last week and here are her stats:
19.12 lbs (off the charts)
27 inches long (97%)
She is still a great sleeper, sleeps 10-12 hrs a night. She still nurses a lot, but I am not ready to do the food thing; she is content with my milk. She LOVES her big brother. In fact today he was playing by her and she started laughing at him. She is the happiest baby and brings me so much JOY!

I was changing Molly this night and Matt could not get over her chunks, so we had to get them on camera and of course Andrew had to join in. I think this pictures really shows how much they look alike though!

Molly rolled over for the first and only time...funny story- the doctor asked me if she had rolled over yet and I told her only once, and the doctor looked at her and said, "Well it is hard for that girl to roll over all that weight!" LOL, we just laughed about it!

Andrew is now completely potty trained (except for at night). He was amazing. We decided to try during thanksgiving week (b/c Matt had some time off) and Andrew did it like a champ. He had a total of 5 accidents the week we did it and not many more from there on...

Matt's Aunt, Uncle & Cousin came to town in early November. They loved playing with Andrew and meeting sweet Molly!

Andrew was a firefighter for Halloween. We went trick-or-treating with Grace & Caroline. Andrew loved it!!!

I am having an issue with the pictures on my computer. Since I have more than 10,000 photos loaded on my computer my IPHOTO (where i load all my photos) is telling me it is full. Matt and I are working on loading some of them on to a back up but that does not seem to be working either. I have a TON of pics on my camera and lots of blogging to catch up on, but it may be a while...

So sorry! I hope I don't lose any readers...well the three of you out there that still read my blog! :)

Leah, Jimmy & the kids...

Last week we got to spend some much needed time with Matt's brother's family. We went over to their house (in Cape Coral, FL), to watch some Colts Football and eat pizza. Andrew update...

I know a lot of my posts lately have been about Molly, well now is time for an Andrew update! What a sweet boy we have. He is definitely 2 and acts like he is 2, but he has such a fun personality and says the sweetest things. He is starting to express his feelings and starting to use his imagination. He pretends there are bears in the house and tells me about his pet frogs all the time. The other day we were getting out of the car to go out to eat with our family and he says, "Mama, Drew-Drew is getting very excited!"

Andrew LOVES anything to do with firefighters, loves swimming, fishing and being outside. He loves to play with his match-box cars, football and read books. His favorite show to watch on T.V. is Curious George & The Cat in the Hat. He loves to read his bible at bed time and his favorite songs are Jesus Loves Me & The Doxology (he calls it Blessings Flow). Andrew is still a great eater. His favorite food to eat is meat. Andrew LOVES meat- any kind; chicken, beef, steak, pork! He would eat oranges and cheesesticks all day too if we let him!

Andrew loves his baby sister. He loves to kiss her (on the lips) and love to give her his Elmo to hug. They are becoming little buddies!

Andrew is so sweet. I love it when he puts my cheeks in his hands and gives me big kisses. I love watching Andrew and Matt play. It is so fun! I love that he remembers stories from the bible. In fact today he told me, "Mama, I want to listen to you because Jesus said so."

So Molly is still the best baby ever. She hardly ever cries and smiles and talks all the time. She is just so go-with-the-flow (like her Daddy). Molly had her 2 month doctor appointment this week and let's just say, she is a BIG girl!
Weight: 13.14 pounds, 95th percentile
Length: 23 inches long, 75th percentile
Head: i forgot the size, but she was in the 75th percentile for that too!

My doctor said I could be a wet nurse with how big Molly is!:) She was also happy to hear that Molly is sleeping 7-8 hours at a time at night. Molly got 2 shots and has handled them well. She has not been her smilie self, but she has not been fussy either (she is such a good baby)! We continue to enjoy her and she blesses us everyday!

Look how big I am getting. I am 2 moths old now, check out all the things I can do;
I can blow bubbles...

...I smile all the time...

...and I am so big!

I love to sit in my boppy pillow and look around...

...Mommy tells me how pretty I am all the time!

I love my big brother too...

...but I stick my tongue out at him when he is being silly!

I am so big that I sleep in my big girl crib now. Mommy tells me how happy she is that I sleep 7-8 hours at a time!

What a busy couple months I have had. I love to eat, Mommy has the best milk in the world! I love my swing, but hate my carseat. I love to look around and see what is going on. Mommy tells me all the time that I am just the best, easiest baby ever!

Andrew just LOVES his baby sister. He loves holding her, hugging her and giving her kisses before bed at night. I just love it! Matt always talks to him about protecting her and I love that too!

Andrew started Preschool!

Andrew started preschool about two weeks ago and he is LOVING it! He goes two days a week from 9-12 at First Presbyterian Church and he looks forward to it every time he goes! I talked to his teacher last week and she said he is a pro! She said he is a great helper and loves being there! I am enjoying the break and some alone time with Molly! We are so happy about this decision!

Molly Update...

Molly is almost 3 weeks old and what a joy (pun intended) she is to our family! What a good baby she is too! She is growing and getting big. She LOVES to eat and she is nursing great! She sleeps 4-6 hours at a time during the night and eats pretty quickly and goes right back to sleep (most of the time that is). I still have not decided who she looks like. When she is sleeping I think she looks like Andrew but when her eyes are open I am not sure. She seems easy going but that could be because she has a big brother who demands a lot of my attention.

Andrew LOVES his baby sister. He loves to give her kisses and hugs and wants to hold her all the time. The other day he told me he was going to pick her up and carry her to her bed (um, I don't think so). Even though he loves his baby sister, there has still been a transition in our home. Each day we are working though that transition. I am not sure if it is because he has a new sister or if he is just 2, probably both!

I must say that I love being a mother of two beautiful children. The adjustment has been very difficult; mostly because Matt has not had much time off (he is in the middle of getting ordained) but I do love my job! My babies are so special to me. As I look as my sleeping daughter next to me, I know I am blessed!

1 Week old (on Tuesday)

Our sweet Molly was 1 week old on Tuesday. We took her to her see her pediatrician and she is doing great! She is only down to 7 pound 9 ounces (from 8 lbs. 4 oz), so she is doing well. She is measuring 20 inches long so they probably got her length wrong in the hospital. She is nursing like a champ and is a very good sucker. I am afraid to say this because I think I may jinx it but Molly has been sleeping 5-6 hours a night, at a time since we brought her home. I keep saying she will eventually wake up out of her newborn coma and want to eat but that has yet to happen. Molly had jaundice pretty bad but that has passed and she is beautiful as ever. Molly's Birth Story

37 Weeks & Birth Day!
Again, I made it to my appointment. At this point I had been walking, drinking raspberry leaf tea, having sex and I even had my heels rubbed by a massage therapist (that is supposed to help start labor). When Dr. Miller checked me though I was already dilated 7 centimeters, she was shocked! Dr. Miller stripped my membranes hoping that would help. She was so surprised I was dilated that she had to confirm with another doctor on what to do with me. She came back with a plan. She gave me her cell phone number and told me that if my water broke to call her right away (she was afraid she would not make it to the hospital to deliver my baby if I did not call her b/c I was so dilated). If my water did not break, then I was to come in the next morning and she would send me to the hospital and she would break my water. So Dr. Miller sent me home. I had decided to stay the night at my mom’s house because she is so close to the hospital (about a mile away).

I was very excited on my way home from my appointment. I was going to meet my baby girl soon; if not that night the next day for sure. At my mom’s we ordered dinner. At about 5:45 pm I started having contractions about 3 minutes apart but they were not that bad. I could still talk through them, but was timing them because they were more frequent and a little harder than they had been. I ate dinner and after dinner my contractions went from 3 minutes apart to 1-3 minutes apart. I decided to call my doctor and she told me to go to the hospital, for safety measures.

So around 8:00 pm, Matt and I headed over to the hospital. I walked in and if you would have looked at me you would have never known I was in labor. I was smiling, laughing and really enjoying myself. In fact when we checked in I told the man at the front desk that I was in labor (he thought I was there to be induced because I was in so little pain). I was taken right to triage where I began the “are you really in labor” run-down. I was hooked up to the monitor, and the nurse was surprised at how frequent my contractions were and how calm I was. She told me I had a high pain tolerance. I told her I had a doctor appointment earlier that day and that I was dilated 7. She was SHOCKED! She says to me, “ Did you just say you were dilated 7?” She was also surprised to hear my doctor sent me home. After the nurse checked for herself (and yes I was dilated 7 still), she called my doctor.

The nurse came back in and told me the plan was to have Dr. Miller break my water and get this baby out. We were moved to our labor & delivery room by 9:00 pm and my mom & sister arrived soon after. Matt got the music set up (that was my one request), and my doctor came in to break my water. By 9:30 my water was broken my contractions really started to get intense. I labored in bed (the nurse made me stay in bed b/c I was a VBAC and they had to keep the baby monitor on my belly). Laboring in bed was hard, I really wanted to be able to get up, but I did not argue because it just was not worth it. I also thought I would be a quiet laborer but as soon as my contractions were intense I started moaning.

Not long after my water was broken, I started pushing. I think around 10:10 pm was when I officially started. I pushed for about 45 minutes and then Molly was born. For me pushing was the hardest part. My mom had to remind me that this was the first baby I had ever pushed out so it would be a little harder, and it was. Molly Joy Loveall joined us on Tuesday night at 10:54 pm, 8 pounds 4 ounces and 19 inches long.

Once Molly was born I was in a state of shock! I was shocked that I had done it. I had an all-natural birth (with NO drugs), and I had a successful VBAC (a vaginal birth after a c-section). I was very proud of myself and Matt was very proud of me too. He was in a little shock I think too. My mom and sister kept telling how awesome I was too. I was also so impressed with my doctor. She was so encouraging, very calm and on my side the whole time. She never doubted me and that was such a blessing!

There you have it! That is my birth story for Molly Joy Loveall. I am so glad the Lord protected me and Molly and that He gave me the strength to get through her birth! I praise the Lord for my two beautiful children everyday!

Meet Molly Joy Loveall!

As most of you have already heard, Molly Joy Loveall joined our family on Tuesday, July 27th at 10:54 PM after only 2 hours of labor. She weighted in at a big 8 lbs. 4 oz and was 19 inches long (I say she was big because she was 3 weeks early). I delivered her all naturally (NO DRUGS), but I will post my birth story soon!

She is such a blessing to us already. Enjoy the pictures and I will post more soon!

37 week appointment...

Well, here is the scoop:
My doctor checked me today and I was 7 centimeters dilated...she was shocked!!! She stripped my membranes and if I do not go into labor by tomorrow am, she will help me along (break my water). I am staying at my mom's house tonight because she is only about a mile from the hospital...

Stay tunned, this girl is coming today or tomorrow! :)

36 week update & we are READY!!!

Well, no new big news after my doctor appointment yesterday. I had an ultra sound and baby girl is measureing in the 90 percentile at 8 pounds. The tech called her a porker, and it is hard to disagree with a baby that big already. My doctor checked me too and said that I am still very much dilated and her head is very low. The doctor said, SHE IS RIGHT THERE. So when my body eventually goes into labor, my hope is that she comes fast! :) Until then I am walking, squatting, chasing my 2 year old around and try to be as active as I can.

36 weeks pregnant with an 8 pound baby...

First Crane ride...

This morning while I was catching up on the very little sleep I got last night, Matt took Andrew to get a ride in a real crane. Matt's step-dad operates a crane in town and took Andrew to his job site this morning. Of course Andrew loved sitting in the crane, pushing all the buttons and of course Grandpa loved it too!

We have been out of commission (the past two days) because we were switching internet providers. Matt just got the internet hooked up so I will try to be better about baby news.

On the baby front-

Yes, I am still pregnant! I am doing what I can to get this baby out; drinking my Raspberry Leaf Tea 2-3 times a day, walking (in this 100 degree heat), cleaning my house, having sex (sorry if this is T.M.I), so we are trying. The plus to her not coming yet is that I know the longer I wait now, the less I will have to labor once my water breaks or my contractions pick up!

We will keep you updated! We are anxious to meet this girl, just like most of you are!

Wednesday morning baby update...

Well, no baby last night. I tried to go to bed early- which was good because I was up a lot. I was having a good amount of contractions, but nothing worth waking Matt up over. I plan on taking a walk today and we will see if that helps!

Just wanted to let you all know that my labor has slowed down a bit. My water has not broken, but my body is definitely getting ready to do it's thing and have a baby. I am off to bed and we will keep you updated on any changes!

35 week update...

I went to the doctor today and my doctor checked me (internally) and I am already 4 centimeters dilated. Right now (as I type) I think my body is getting ready to go into labor. I think I lost my mucus plug and that my water could be leaking out...crazy how I am not sure, even though this is my second child. I was having hard contractions but they have seemed to slow down. I plan to labor at home until I can not wait any longer. I (or Matt) will keep you updated either through the blog, through facebook or through texts.

Prayers are much appreciated as I am trying for a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section), Naturally (without an epidural).

Baby update (34 1/2 weeks)

Not much to report from my doctor visit yesterday. Baby girl is very low, so that is good. I am having a lot of braxton hicks (every night sometimes off and on for 3-4 hours). I have an ultra sound next week so I will have more to report then. I will also start drinking the famous tea (Raspberry Leaf Tea) next week too! Until then, enjoy these comparison pictures I posted. A day away...

Here are pictures from our one day vacation, in town! I mentioned a few post back that Miranda & Kyle won a 2 rooms at a local hotel. Well, they just so happened to share one of those rooms with us! We had a great time! We enjoyed the fabulous pool, went out to eat at a fabulous restaurant, and had some fabulous time away- just us adults! Here is an overview of our mini vacation (that is what we called it)!

A couple of weekends ago all the cousins (on my mom's side) got together to go swimming! It was so fun to sit back, relax, take pictures and watch them all swim together! I think Papa had the best time though- he loves being in the pool, especially with his three babies! :)

Baby Shower!

A couple weekends ago I was given a wonderful baby shower from my sisters. It was so sweet of them! I really enjoyed my time. Yes, I got some really sweet baby girl outfits, but I also got a bunch of diapers, and a lot of wipes too! It was a beautiful morning and I was very blessed!

A day away...

Tomorrow Matt and I get to spend a day at a hotel together! My sister and her husband got us a room, and the four of us are going to hang out, go to the pool, go out to dinner and enjoy our kid free day and night! I am very excited...a little break before baby girl comes! I will post pictures on Saturday!

Baby Girl's Room!

Well, baby girl's room is almost all ready. We do not have the crib in her room yet, because Andrew is still enjoying it! We did not paint the room (really because we are renting), but I have added some fun touches to it to make it fun and girlie! Check it out for yourself!
