Happy Thanksgiving 2009

I am a day late, but Happy Thanksgiving to all of our family and friends. We look back on this past year and we are so thankful for all the Lord has given us. We have to much to mention, but here are just a few: our a very energetic little boy, a new job starting in January, the sell of our home (in St. Louis), a new (to us) vehicle (and the safety of being in a car accident), many enjoyable visits from our family, fun dinners and outings with our friends, and the love and grace from our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am so thankful for my sweet family!

Andrewisms

Andrew has been talking A LOT lately. He really does say a lot. I am probably one of the only people who can understand him, but I know he is talking.
Here are some of words from his language:
Noch- Milk
Tete- Baby
Cookie- Pretzel
Nome- Phone
Dace- Grace

He has also started asking where people are. All day long he asks me where these people are:
Dada
Papa
Nene
Grace
Bow-Wow

Andrew loves:
Trucks
Cars
Being outside
Juice
Rocks
Dirt
Baths
Thomas the Train
Momma & Dada of course!

He is such a sweet 1 1/2 year old. I can not believe how fast he has grown. He amazes us everyday with words he says and things he does. What a joy Andrew is to us! We take him to the Doctor on Monday for his 18 month appointment. I will post his stats then! :)

Last visit to the arch!

The weather on Saturday was beautiful, sunny and 70 degrees. We went to the St. Louis arch and let Andrew run around. I took some pictures and we enjoyed our last visit there. We enjoyed a yummy lunch downtown and spent a nice morning together as a family. They call it the gateway to the west, more like the gateway to South Florida!

Goodbye St. Louis, until next time...

A great visit

A couple weeks ago my sweet, and very missed friend Lyra came to town. Lyra and her family moved away last may when Jared graduated from Covenant Seminary. Lyra and her daughter, Bryn made a 4 day visit and it was WONDERFUL to see them. I do not think I realized how much I missed them until she came back to visit. It truly was a great visit!

Bryn at 5 months. Bryn was born a year (almost to the day) after Andrew. What a very happy baby!

April & Lyra (with their babies) at Forest Park. We had a wonderful visit at Forest Park together. It even included a lunch date out with the kids.

Thanks for visiting Lyra! It was great to see you. I miss you already! :)

Fall in St. Louis

Halloween 09

Andrew went trick-or-treating this year and LOVED it. We went to our old neighborhood and brought Jason, Conner & Ruby Jane long with us. Andrew wanted to hold his candy the whole time we trick-or-treated. He told everyone, thank you and bye-bye after each house.

My mom got Andrew these skeleton jammies and we decided to use them as his costume. They were glow-in-the-dark and FREE! :)

Andrew checking out all his candy. He only got one piece on Halloween and we still have a full bowl of candy.

Cute boy in a cute shirt!

This shirt (and many of Andrew's clothes) are hamidowns from our sweet friends the Lees. Jared & Lyra moved in June to NC, and they gave us a bunch of their son, Shea's clothes. Look how sweet my boy looks in them! :)

Enjoy the pictures Lyra! What cute boys we have!

Playing with Ruby Jane

Every other Tuesday night we watch one of Andrew's best friend's, Ruby Jane. Ruby Jane's mommy & daddy are in class on Tuesday evenings so she and Andrew hang out. These two have so much fun together. Andrew is really going to miss his buddy, Ruby Jane when we move!

My sweet nieces

I was able to snap some pictures of my sweet nieces in their Halloween costumes while we were in Florida. Aren't they so cute!

Girls Night- with my Mom & Sisters...

We got to have a girls night while I was in FL. It was so much fun! We went to dinner and then got dessert at Dairy Queen- one of my most favorite icecream places. It was a fun, relaxing night out and I am excited about more girl's nights once I move! :)

Dessert with Grandpa

Ok, so I am a tad bit behind in my blogging. I am going to try and catch up this week. If you visit Loveall News and you are overwhelmed with new posts it is because I am making up for the past two weeks.

While in FL (two weeks ago), we were able to spend some time with my Aunt Darlene & Aunt Debbie! It was great to see them. We had dinner at my Aunt Darlene's new house. My Dad enjoyed feeding the kids strawberries and whip cream- they loved it.
