Playing with my new Camera

I have been spending the last week or so getting to know my camera. I have gotten a lot of advise from my friends and read a lot of blogs getting different tips. Of course my favorite model is my adorable son. Check these out and let me know what you think...

This picture is Matt's favorite. If you know my husband you are not surprised; his two favorite things Coke & the Bible. :)

A gift...

My dad called me up about a week ago and complimented me on how well my photographs have been lately. He thinks I have a talent in taking pictures (especially with my little orange camera) and he wanted to buy me a really nice camera. Well, Matt and I were thrilled b/c this is something we would have loved to owned but would have never been able to afford it. The camera came in the mail last week and I LOVE it! I am still trying to figure out how to use it and learn all the fun settings but what fun I will have.
Feel free to leave me any tips you have. I will take all the advise I can get! :)

Thanks for this wonderful gift Dad!
We love you,
Loveall Family

Andrew's 1st trip to the Arch...

We went to the arch last week on a beautiful Wednesday morning (Earth Day).

The Gateway to the West- the St. Louis Arch.

These are the best pictures I could get of Drew in front of the arch. (Check out those really cute shoes he has on, from my sister. He looks like such a big boy with them on.)

Snack time for Drew & Ruby Jane at the base of the arch...

The Park...

Since the weather has been so nice here Andrew and I have been getting out and enjoying it. We have had many play-dates with our friends Conner & Ruby Jane.

Just being cute at the park

The Stool

My dad got Andrew this adorable stool as an early birthday present. It showed up in the mail and Andrew loved it! He plays with it often.

Thanks Grandpa for the really cool gift. I love it lots!

Some things have not changed...

This is a picture of Andrew sleeping when he was 3 months old...

Andrew sleeping at 10 1/2 months...our boy may be growing but he still sleeps the same, with his butt up in the air. Every night before we go to bed Matt and I go in his room together and check on him. We look down in his crib and then we look up at each other with smiles on our faces. We are so blessed by Andrew!

Botanical Gardens

Andrew and I went on a Mommy-baby outing with our friends Conner & Lyra on Wednesday to the Missouri Botanical Gardens. It was absolutely beautiful! Not only was it free but everything was in bloom. Lyra said it perfectly, being there was therapeutic! I LOVED seeing all the different colors of tulips and just enjoyed being outside. It was a wonderful outing and we are already planning another visit next Wednesday!

Me and my sweet boy!

Love the tulips...

...just love them.

Look at everything in bloom!

Andrew checking things out.

I just can not get enough of this boy!

More tulips

Andrew & Gage (Gage is Lyra's oldest son).

I love him!

Andrew's sweet friend Ruby Jane (he and Ruby Jane are only 6 weeks apart).

I was in awe of all God has created during my walk through the gardens!

Andrew enjoying some time to crawl around in the grass, what a fun morning we had! What a blessing it is to stay home with my son!

Egg Hunt...

We had some friends over for dinner and an Easter Egg hunt on Sunday. It was a lot of fun. Andrew did not really hunt for eggs but we put some in his basket and he thought it was really fun knocking them together and putting them in his mouth. The older kids had a fun time hunting for eggs though. Matt was quite creative in his hiding and the kids really enjoyed that.

"Look at all the eggs I found, Mom!"

Ben enjoying his first egg hunt too!

Ruby Jane hunting for eggs too!

The kids running around looking for more eggs. Matt hid over 100 of them.

By the looks of things, Andrew is ready to go inside.
