Our Nursery

Here are the final pictures of our son's room. It has been a work in progress for the past few months. It is pretty much all done, except for hanging his name on the wall (that will be done when we can decide on what to name him). Enjoy the pictures...i am pretty happy with how cute everything looks!

St. Louis Baby Shower...

On Saturday I had my second baby shower, this time in St. Louis, given to me by my church. It was a very nice shower. Matt's family (Aunt, Uncle, Cousin & Grandma) came to town just for the shower- well and to spend time with us and it made the day even better! It was a very enjoyable time and I got some great gifts! Thanks to everyone!

Finding a Pediatrician...

Hey St. Louis friends out there I need your help. Since I only have 8 weeks left in my pregnancy it is time we find a Pediatrician (a very important part to having a baby, right?). Well, I would like your recommendations on this. I don't really have anywhere to go from here. If you could comment and let me know who you know or use and someone you highly recommend that would be great. My OBGYN is with Missouri Baptist Hospital, but I don't think it matters with the Pediatrician...does it???

Florida Baby Shower

Yesterday I had my first baby shower. My mom and sisters hosted it and it was wonderful. It was so good to see friends that I have not seen in a while and to visit with all my family! Plus, I am excited about all the gifts I am taking home. I think the baby's room will be totally complete very soon! :)

Today is my big sister's 28th birthday. I wish i could be there to hang out with her (but I am not to sad because I will see her in two days)!!!

A SPRING Sunday afternoon...

I am one of those people that is dramatically affected by the weather and all it did last week was rain. This weekend has been beautful and since I spent all of Saturday inside cleaning I was determined to get outside today. After church Matt and I picked up lunch and went to the park to enjoy the sunshine. Then Matt came home and mowed the lawn. I wanted to be outside SO bad I sat out there and watched him and then swept our front entry way, sidewalk and driveway.

Look how good our grass looks. Some of you may remember we put sod down last Fall and this is the first time Matt has cut it. He is pretty happy with how it looks!

Welcome Charles Benjamin Parsons

Last Sunday some of our best St. Louis friends, Hope & Wes had a baby boy. Charles Benjamin Parsons was born at 9:45 pm on Sunday, March 31st. He was a big boy weighing in at 9 lbs. and 22 inches long. Hope had to have a c-section because he was so big, but she is healing well. Praise the Lord of another Covenant child! Congrats Hope & Wes!

The Results are in....

15 of you said to SHAVE and 7 of you said NOT TO SHAVE...so guess what...HE SHAVED! I think the real reason was because he had a job interview and he wanted to look somewhat professional, but I did not care...i was just glad he shaved. He was sad to do so, but he is back to his normal Matt. Here are some pictures from the other morning.
